  • Kim is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who enjoys working with teens and adults, individually and in groups. Kim obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and has completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Kim is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Kim is skilled in working with anger management, depression, anxiety, depression, trauma, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

    While her interests lie in the area of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, Kim has worked in diverse settings with a wide range of clients. She has provided individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a community mental health center and has experience in community-based therapy, residential treatment, and day treatment programming.     Chris is remarried and the parent of three grown sons and one daughter. Chris enjoys spending time with her family and riding her horse when she is not working with clients.

  • Hi, my name is Mariah Couser. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I believe that individuals grow towards change when they are provided a safe and comfortable atmosphere, paired with acceptance, empathy, guidance, and understanding. Mariah Couser, MA, LPCC-S

  • Meredith is a Licensed Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults. Meredith began her career in creative and tech spaces, but found it unfulfilling. She decided to pursue her passion for helping others and completed a Master's degree in Social Work at North Carolina State University. While there, she trained with a foster care team and a psychiatric hospital for children. She has received additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care and collaborating with educators. She moved to Ohio in 2021 and has spent the past two years working with children and their families both as an outpatient therapist and as a therapist at a behavioral school. She to currently studying to incorporate expressive arts therapies and movement-based self-regulation interventions. She believes that how we talk to our children becomes their inner voice. She brings a playful spirit, unconditional positive regard and evidenced-based interventions into each session. In her free time, Meredith enjoys soaking up nature in Cincinnati parks, watching Real Housewives and visiting her family at the beaches or in the mountains of North Carolina.

  • Amanda received both her Master’s in Clinical Social Work and her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Michigan State University. She has comprehensive training in evidenced-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT). Amanda is passionate about working with teens and adults with a variety of experiences including depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, and eating disorders.  Recently, she has been focusing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and how screen time, social media, and poor sleep impact our mental health.

    Amanda believes therapy is a true partnership between client and therapist, both working equally to achieve goals. She has always had a genuine passion for helping others and truly believes that therapy can be effective for anyone looking to make moves toward changing their life for the positive. 

    Amanda enjoys spending time with her dogs, horses, friends and family outside of work. She likes to go hiking, camping, backpacking, and horseback riding on the weekends.

  • Hi there. My name is Jennifer (Jen) Gobel. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have worked in a variety of settings since becoming a counselor including public school systems, nursing homes, and addiction treatment centers. I have worked with individuals ranging in ages from 5 to 65+ and have enjoyed the unique characteristics that each person brings. Currently I see individuals age 18+ and I specialize in EMDR, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

    I like to use a client centered approach during counseling. It is my hope to help you set your goals and achieve them along the way.   • Hello! My name is Karen and I am a dually-licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). I use a non-judgmental, person-centered approach in counseling to provide a safe, comforting place to help you learn to cope with life’s challenges in ways that promote hope and empowerment.

    My passion is working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse issues, codependency, mood disorders, grief, and self-esteem concerns. I use techniques drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

    I obtained a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University and have worked in a variety of community mental health agencies and outpatient substance abuse clinics for the past 10 years.   • Hi, my name is Emily! I am a licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I received my Bachelor’s degree and my Master’s degree in social work from Miami University. In my free time, I’m usually online shopping, taking pictures of my cats sleeping, and watching A24 movies. It is an honor and a privilege to empower others and walk with them through healing and growth. I believe therapy is an alliance between the therapist and  client. My goal is to provide you a safe place where you feel encouraged to work on symptoms that are hindering you from living the life you envision for yourself. As your therapist, I will help guide you to be your biggest advocate, how to incorporate self love into your daily life, and see yourself as someone with worth and value.   • Patti is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S). She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings and has helped persons of many backgrounds. Patti’s basic philosophy is that counseling should help you feel better—not worse. While counseling is sometimes painful, the pain should be outweighed by growth, empowerment, and an overall sense of hope about your future. Patti will offer you the support and strength you need to feel more accepting of yourself while helping you change. Counseling should never be a waste of time and money. It should be an investment. Patti’s clients have described her as genuine, challenging, compassionate, insightful and effective. With all that said, Patti is also aware that the most effective counselor is one that is a “good fit” for you.   • Hi, I’m Hannah (she/her/hers). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. I obtained my Bachelor’s of Psychology and Classical Humanities from Miami University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University. I believe that therapy is a space for you to find safety, heal, and explore ways to feel better. It is my job as the therapist to provide that space for you, as well as to collaborate with you on how to meet your goals. I am primarily a person-centered therapist, which means this journey will look different for everyone, and I’m ready to meet you wherever you are.

    I am passionate about working with survivors of trauma and individuals that struggle with anxiety, addiction, suicidal/self-harm behaviors, eating disorders, OCD, and/or LGBTQ+ concerns. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), and have experience with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP). I currently work with all ages. I am currently supervised by Patti Wilhoit, LPCC-S. I have openings for tele-health and in-person, as well as evenings and weekends.
