She has comprehensive training in evidenced-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT). Amanda is passionate about working with teens and adults with a variety of experiences including depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, and eating disorders.  Recently, she has been focusing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and how screen time, social media, and poor sleep impact our mental health.

Amanda believes therapy is a true partnership between client and therapist, both working equally to achieve goals. She has always had a genuine passion for helping others and truly believes that therapy can be effective for anyone looking to make moves toward changing their life for the positive.

Amanda enjoys spending time with her dogs, horses, friends and family outside of work. She likes to go hiking, camping, backpacking, and horseback riding on the weekends.
