Patti is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S). She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings and has helped persons of many backgrounds. Patti’s basic philosophy is that counseling should help you feel better—not worse. While counseling is sometimes painful, the pain should be outweighed by growth, empowerment, and an overall sense of hope about your future. Patti will offer you the support and strength you need to feel more accepting of yourself while helping you change. Counseling should never be a waste of time and money. It should be an investment. Patti’s clients have described her as genuine, challenging, compassionate, insightful and effective. With all that said, Patti is also aware that the most effective counselor is one that is a “good fit” for you. Therefore, she will be happy to refer you elsewhere if you are not finding treatment effective.
