Hello! My name is “Bisma.” I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio, holding a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. With compassion and dedication, I am committed to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges by fostering self-empowerment, emotional growth, and lasting healing.
My work with couples is grounded in a Family Systems perspective, understanding how the complex interplay of relationships shapes our well-being. I collaborate with couples to strengthen their connections, improve communication, and resolve unresolved issues within a supportive, nonjudgmental space that encourages openness and growth.
I am also deeply passionate about supporting adolescents and adults, especially women, through anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, and parts work. Together, we will build emotional resilience, gain clarity, and empower you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Aside from counseling, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two children. Family time is important to me, and I cherish moments spent cooking, reading, playing with my kids, and catching up on the latest shows and movies with my husband. I’m also a cat lover and coffee enthusiast, finding peace and comfort in life's simple pleasures.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to greater well-being.
