I live by the quote, “Whatever else anything is, it ought to begin by being personal.” Yes, it’s a movie quote; but it’s a powerful reminder that every event, circumstance, and individual experience is deeply personal and deserves to be treated as such. I strive to help clients explore their individuality and unique life stories so they can navigate difficult circumstances and find wholeness once again. By truly understanding ourselves and our motivations, we can focus on the direction we want to take moving forward.

As a mother, I know firsthand how challenging, rewarding, exhausting, and beautiful parenthood can be. While becoming a parent often means losing parts of ourselves, it also opens the door to a love unlike any other. Parenthood reflects us back in ways that compel deep introspection. This reflection sparked my interest in holistic therapy, where the goal is healing the whole person. As Gestalt theory teaches, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and by understanding those parts, we begin to become whole again.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience working with adults, adolescents and children (age 5+). My clinical work has included supporting clients through identity crises, anxiety, depression, ADHD, neurodivergence (including ASD), and LGBTQ+ related concerns. I incorporate psychoeducation, therapeutic games, breathing techniques, and strong rapport-building to foster healing.

My passion lies in holistic approaches to therapy, addressing mind, body, and spirit to restore wellness. I am deeply interested in how environmental factors—such as technology, nutrition, exercise, and cognition, affect our overall health. I help clients discover how unresolved trauma can manifest physically, and explore natural ways to reduce these effects using evidence-based practices alongside mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork. My therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy within a warm, person-centered framework.

If therapy feels intimidating or uncomfortable to you, that’s completely understandable. Opening up can feel like diving into the unknown. I believe that genuine connection and a nonjudgmental, supportive environment are essential to helping clients feel truly seen and at ease. Remember: you are the leading character in your own life story, and everyone else plays a part. If my approach feels like a good fit, I would be honored to become a small part of your journey.
