Veronica Pugh, MS, LPC

Hi there! My name is Veronica Pugh, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. As a counselor, I am passionate about helping individuals discover what it means to be their best possible selves through holistic care. In my work, I consider all of the different parts of my client’s world that can contribute to their well-being and their identity, such as physical health, culture, religion, race, etc. I have experience working with individuals suffering from symptoms of anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), ADHD, and trauma. My therapeutic approach involves the use of a wide variety of theories, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). My work as a counselor is based on my belief that empathy is healing and that providing a safe space for people to find peace is invaluable. Every single person is unique, and so I believe in working with my clients as a team to create a unique therapeutic environment and treatment, best suited for their individual needs. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University, as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am so excited to work with you!
